We are seeking a dynamic and creative educator to serve in a dual role as a part-time K-12 Gifted and Talented (GT) teacher and Elementary Art teacher. The successful candidate will design and implement enrichment opportunities for identified GT students and provide engaging, standards-based visual arts instruction for elementary students.
Responsibilities Include:

Developing and implementing instructional plans for pull out elementary students and identified GT students in grades 4-12, in alignment with Arkansas Gifted and Talented Program Standards.

Providing differentiated enrichment activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.

Planning and teaching visual arts classes for elementary grades, incorporating a variety of media and art techniques.

Collaborating with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and growth.

Maintaining required documentation, including GT identification records and student progress monitoring.

Participating in professional development and school activities as required.
Qualifications:

Valid Arkansas teaching license with certification in either Art Education (K–6 or K–12) and/or Gifted and Talented Education (GT endorsement preferred, or willingness to obtain).

Experience working with high school and elementary-aged students.

Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.

Passion for supporting diverse learners in a rural educational setting.
